What the Company Does

Unilever is a global food and home and personal care company, increasingly focused on the latter. It owns a wide range of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) businesses.

Unilever is organised around five Business Groups: Beauty and Wellbeing, Personal Care, Home Care, Nutrition and Ice Cream. Each business group is responsible for its own strategy, growth and profit delivery. 

The company owns some very well-known, world class brands, such as Dove, Lifebuoy, Comfort, Domestos, Hellmann’s, Knorr and Magnum. 

In terms of geographic reach, it has global leadership positions in around a dozen FMCG categories. Unilever generates more than 80% of revenues in markets in which it has a number one or two position and it has around fourteen brands generating more than €1 billion in annual sales.
