The Castlefield Charitable Fund was originally established in 2006 by the Partners of our first trading business from funds which might otherwise have been distributed to the Partners as profits. Today it provides our group with the means to support worthwhile projects with a positive social and environmental impact.

Small grants of between £100-£1,000 are available to registered charities with an annual expenditure of under £1million.

The Charitable Fund also supports a donation-matching scheme for Castlefield Co-owners.

CCF's 2023 Charities

The Castlefield Charitable Fund supports charities in the Greater Manchester area providing a positive impact to the local community and environment in the following key focus areas:

  • Preventing homelessness
  • Support for vulnerable families and children (immediate need & education)
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Environment and sustainability

For 2023, Castlefield co-owners have selected four charities to support, which will be recipients of our fundraising activities while also being awarded a grant from the Fund:
