What the Company Does

Established in 1890, German headquartered Allianz SE provides insurance and investment services. It operates globally with a core purpose to deliver investment products aligned with either a “protection” or “retirement” need. We view both these aims as inherently socially positive.

The Property/Casualty insurance activities provide insurance products to consumers directly and through brokers/intermediaries. “Health Insurance” extends the protection solutions to cover traditional Health and long-term care insurance as well as providing health or term-linked savings products such as annuities.

Asset Management activities additionally provide standalone investment products to “high street” customers and other investment groups or intermediaries through the Allianz or PIMCO brands. Although headquartered in Germany, the group generates a significant proportion of its revenues from outside of Europe.
