Castlefield Charity Summer Seminar 2026

Following-on from the success of our inaugural summer seminar last year, we’re delighted to announce the 2026 Castlefield Charity Summer Seminar will be taking place in Central Manchester in June.

Date: Wednesday 10 June, 2026

Time: Speakers from 14:30 – 17:30 followed by drinks and networking. Closes 18:30

Location: House of Books & Friends, 81 King St, Manchester

This year’s event will bring together charity leaders and trustees for a practical and thought‑provoking programme focused around this year's theme: Maximising Your Mission.

The event is free to attend. To find out more or register your interest, please email Bronwyn or Simon at charities@castlefield.com

What you can expect

The seminar will feature a mix of talks tailored specifically for charities, including ways charities can work more efficiently and make stronger decisions covering:

  • good governance and effective trustee leadership
  • ethical investing and long‑term financial decision‑making
  • understanding the considerations of donors and funders when making a gift to charity
  • applying your charity’s values in day‑to‑day financial and operational decisions

You can expect practical insights, real‑world examples and guidance designed to help trustees and senior leaders navigate today’s financial and governance challenges. Alongside the talks, there will be time for questions, discussion and peer learning with fellow trustees and senior leaders.
