We're pleased to announce that Castlefield will be hosting our Charity Summer Seminar in Central Manchester on 3 July.

The Castlefield Charity Summer Seminar will be exploring the theme of “Overcoming Challenges” and celebrating the resilience, innovation and leadership that define the charity sector.

Alongside an inspiring keynote talk from Dr. Lucy Gossage – cancer doctor, 14-time Ironman champion, and co-founder of 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer – we're delighted to present the following thought-provoking talks:

Creating a healthier giving environment

Olivia Bowen (Castlefield) - Olivia is a Partner and Financial Adviser at Castlefield, with a keen interest in charity investment and advising philanthropists on their charitable activities. 

Adopting a responsible investment mindset, regardless of size 

Lisa Stonestreet (EIRIS Foundation) - Lisa is Head of Communications and Charity Impact at The EIRIS Foundation. The EIRIS Foundation has over 30 years’ experience of providing free and objective information on ethical finance and corporate activity to other charities and the public. 

Screening investments to align with a charity’s mission 

Ita McMahon (Castlefield) - Formerly a DEFRA policy adviser and sustainability consultant, Ita is Head of Stewardship at Castlefield and leads the engagement with companies held in our clients’ investment portfolios. 

Using digital accounting to support your charity 

Sue Weighell (Delta Solutions) - A chartered accountant and charity trustee herself with vast experience in the sector, Sue works closely with clients to turn numbers into insights and financial chaos into clarity.
