I joined Castlefield in October 2022, after moving back to my hometown of Macclesfield. Prior to this I lived in Bristol, where I worked as a Management Accountant. My first experience of accounting was at Aberystwyth University; while studying for a degree in Mathematics, I completed a module in Accounting and Business, and this inspired me to pursue a career in the accounting industry.
Castlefield is a company I have been aware of for several years and I was attracted to the positive work culture it promotes, along with its focus on investing thoughtfully. Here at Castlefield, I work in the Finance Department, focusing on the Castlefield Investment Partners LLP accounts.
Outside of work, I can normally be found spending time in the Peak District with my husband and our dog or getting stuck into the latest DIY project taking place in our house.
