Partner, Head of Client Engagement and Advice

BA (Hons), DipFA, CeLTCI, Chartered FCSI

After graduating from Exeter University with a BA in Physics and Primary Education, I worked for 11 years as a primary school teacher before becoming a financial adviser in 2009.

Having also taken a keen interest in raising awareness of environmental and ethical issues in school communities, I was inspired by the idea of both ethical investment and helping people to achieve their financial goals. Castlefield’s “Thoughtful Investor” approach enables me to do this on a day to day basis.

Based in Somerset, I head up our financial adviser team and advise both local and far-flung clients on savings and investments, family protection and retirement planning. I have an additional specialism in planning for the funding of long term care.

When not working, I can usually be found playing or listening to music, sailing on Exmoor, or exploring the local surroundings with my wife, daughter and Japanese Spitz, Yuki.
