I have worked in the finance industry since leaving school in 1978, initially at Halifax Building Society then at Royal Bank of Scotland Group. After 26 years with RBS Group, I decided to take voluntary redundancy, have a short break and start something completely different. I joined Castlefield in August 2019 and, even though I am still within the finance industry, this is totally different to my previous roles. In my role with Castlefield, I contact a variety of information providers to help me produce reports for clients which are an important part of their regular review with their Castlefield adviser. This is a challenging role, but it’s made easier because of the fantastic support I receive from my colleagues.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and spoiling my two gorgeous grandsons. I am also a season ticket holder at Manchester United, plus I try to attend as many away games as much as possible (tickets permitting). I also enjoy walking, swimming and generally keeping fit.
