I’m the founder of Castlefield; these days acting as its non-executive chair. Prior to establishing the firm, I was an executive director and chief investment officer of the private bank, Brown Shipley.
My role is now focused on the governance of the business, but my fellow co-owners will tell you that I also struggle to avoid having a view on anything which affects our clients!
Having spent the best part of 40 years advising and managing the investments of charities as clients, I now act as a trustee of a small number of charities, including chairing the investment committee of the endowment trust of the world-renowned Halle Orchestra.
Away from the office, I’m interested in music, I admire modern and contemporary art and I also try my best to keep up with technology!
