I began my career in European equity fund management with Brown Shipley in Manchester in 2001. I moved down to London in the early 2000s and ran Baring’s large-company European equity fund for more than fourteen years. I joined Castlefield in September 2023 from Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland, where I was Head of Equity Research. My role at Castlefield specifically includes managing the Castlefield Sustainable European Fund along with being a member of the Investment Management team.
I’m a graduate of University of Ulster and I have an MBA from Cambridge University, plus I hold the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. I’m a Trustee Investment Advisor for the Noel Buxton Trust, a registered charity. Despite growing up in Northern Ireland, I have no Manchester footballing allegiances but I’m a keen water-skier, as well as a music and boxing fan.
