Originally from South Wales, I moved to Manchester to study Geography at the University of Manchester. My interest in environmental issues began in primary school and has developed into a strong ethical outlook. I believe that a truly sustainable world requires holistic thinking – we can't consider the environment without also considering people, and we can't consider people without recognising the role of the economy. This is one of the reasons Castlefield felt like the right fit for me.
Before joining Castlefield, I worked as a Sustainability Assistant for a Welsh company, where I focused on improving environmental performance and delivering added social value. Now, as a Stewardship Assistant at Castlefield, I support our engagement with investee companies on a range of environmental, social, and transparency and governance (E.S.T.) issues. My role includes voting at company AGMs and contributing to our quarterly and annual stewardship reports.
Outside of work, I’m a keen runner and love heading into the hills with my dog, Cassie. I also enjoy travelling, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
