Following an engagement survey and feedback programme with co-owners across the business, Castlefield has launched an enhanced employee value proposition (EVP).

The refreshed offering includes enhanced pension contributions, additional annual leave, group income protection and expanded wellbeing support.

Consulting co-owners

The enhancements to our Employee Values Proposition were developed following consultation with co-owners and have been designed to support employee wellbeing, career development and long-term engagement, while helping Castlefield attract and retain talent in a competitive market.

Internal engagement feedback

Feedback from co-owners played a central role in shaping our refreshed Employee Values Proposition.

In Castlefield's latest internal engagement survey, 98% of employees agreed that their job provides purpose and benefit, 95% highlighted a strong spirit of cooperation across the business and 90% said they have the authority to make decisions they need to make in their roles.

Five Core Pillars

Our co-owner benefits package is built around five core pillars which cover both financial and non-financial factors:

  • People
  • Rewards
  • Opportunity
  • Work
  • Organisation

Together, these encompass financial remuneration, career development, wellbeing, purposeful work and employee ownership.

"As an employee-owned business, we believe the people who help shape Castlefield's success should have a genuine voice in shaping their experience at work.

"Through our engagement survey and follow-up conversations, co-owners told us what they value most and where we could do more to support them."
