David Gorman

Partner, Investment Management

MA (Hons), MBA, Chartered MCSI

I joined Castlefield in 2013 but I’ve worked in the industry since 1996, mainly in research but also doing traditional stockbroking at firms such as Brown Shipley and WH Ireland. Before I entered the investment industry, I did an MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School. My day-to-day role is to oversee research into both equities and collective funds and this research feeds directly into our investment decision-making. I represent Castlefield on external bodies such as the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, our professional body. I am also involved in groups which advise the UK Financial Reporting Council on investor attitudes and on corporate reporting.

I am married and have three adult children, a daughter and twin sons.
