Gaeia founder makes Citywire Top 100 Adviser list

This month, Citywire’s New Model Adviser named Gaeia chair and founder, Brigid Benson, one of the UK’s Top 100 financial advisors. Through a painstaking process of travelling up and down the country and visiting hundreds of advisory practices, New Model Adviser unveiled their selection of firms who they think represent the best of the advisory community. Criteria used as part of their selection process included: level of qualifications, assets under advice, recurring income levels and profit. But they were also looking for star quality, something that makes an adviser a mover and shaker in the financial planning world.  Involvement in the financial services community and their dedication to the new model cause were important factors. NMA said about Gaeia: “Manchester-based Gaeia has pioneered the use of ethical funds in clients’ portfolios since 1989 and its founder Brigid Benson has been a human rights campaigner for more than 20 years. She says the company’s greatest achievement has been ‘to grow the socially responsible investment market and move millions away from arms and companies that are not focused on social and environmental improvement.” Brigid beat over 300 advisors to make the list and we are thrilled that our ethical investment and financial planning advice  has received such a high profile and positive commendation.
