My career has been shaped by a strong interest in people, organisational effectiveness and continuous improvement. Following a Master's degree in Human Resource Management, I built experience across people leadership, learning and development and business improvement roles. I am a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and recently completed the Investment Advice Diploma.
Since joining Castlefield in 2016, I have played a key role in supporting the firm's growth and development. One of the things that attracted me to Castlefield was its Employee Ownership model. I believe businesses perform best when the people who create their success have a genuine stake in it.
In my role I focus on bringing people, priorities and plans together to help the organisation deliver its strategy while remaining true to its purpose and values. I work across the business to support effective decision-making, drive continuous improvement and help create the conditions for colleagues and teams to perform at their best. Sustainability is very important to me, both as a matter of responsibility and as a key consideration in managing business risk and building long-term resilience.
Outside work, I am happiest when surrounded by nature, particularly among trees. I also enjoy making things with my hands, whether that's gardening, sewing or working on creative projects.
