Helen Tandy

Helen has been in Financial Services for over 20 years working for either mutuals or socially oriented businesses. She first worked for Nationwide, Britain's largest and strongest Building Society and after worked at Co-Operative Financial Services as an Independent Financial Adviser. As well as providing advice to clients, charities and businesses she also supports the business as a director on the board. Helen shares Gaeia's commitment to make money benefit society and the environment. Helen advises on all areas of Financial Advice and is working towards Chartered qualifications in Financial Services. Helen has already achieved higher qualifications in taxation, trusts and Long Term Care advice. Helen is mother to Matthew, the family uses fair trade, organic and local produce where possible, she visits Farmers markets and a local Farm shop in the Chester area where she lives. She has been growing her own vegetables for a number of years with varying degrees of success. Helen is an active member and treasurer of Chester Friends of the Earth participating in monthly meetings and local events and fund raising activities, they work along with Chester Local Council and Chester Transition Towns in order to promote solutions to environmental problems.
