Faith in Nature: Over 40 years in business

by Helen Tandy I have been using Faith in Nature products for some time, and sent them as gifts to friends and family. I hadn’t realised until recently that the business is now based locally in Radcliffe, Manchester. Rivka Rose started the company back in 1972 in Edinburgh. After growing up in New York City, she moved to Scotland but couldn’t find any moisturiser suitable for her skin. The business now employs over 50 staff, has over 100 products and exports to over 25 countries. The business believes in using naturally derived, cruelty-free sources. They believe that as they are based in Britain, they should support the local community by manufacturing here – keeping international logistics to a planet-friendly minimum. If they can’t source from the UK, they aim to use ethically sourced, fairly traded produce. You can read the full Faith in Nature story here. You will find products stocked in various Manchester stores well known to Gaeia: Or find your local stockist here. “If there’s one thing we’ve learnt, it’s that for as long as we do good by the planet, everything else just falls into place” – Faith in Nature, We Believe In
