Corporate Governance Response

In November last year the government published a green paper and invited relevant stakeholders to submit their responses to the proposals. Castlefield were keen to take the opportunity to provide our thoughts on the questions posed in the paper. The original report can be found here

As an employee-owned business we felt that the wider corporate landscape in the UK could learn from how employee-owned businesses operate. As well as submitting our own response we also collaborated with the Employee Ownership Association (EOA) on their submissions, which can be found here

We are continuing to build on our obligations to act responsibly as asset owners on behalf of our clients and to develop aspects of good governance. By making public our efforts in this area we hope to indicate our commitment to being good stewards. Please read our thoughts on the points raised by the government in their green paper.
