Castlefield secures two top quartile rankings in latest FE fundinfo Crown Ratings

Two funds within the Castlefield fund range were awarded 4-Crown Ratings in the January 2021 ratings from FE fundinfo.  

This recognises both the CFP Castlefield B.E.S.T. Sustainable European Fund and CFP Castlefield B.E.S.T. Sustainable UK Opportunities Fund as funds with an FE fundinfo 4- Crown Rating.  

The ‘Crown Ratings’ are quantitative ratings designed to help investors identify which funds have displayed superior performance in terms of stock selection, consistency of outperformance and risk control. This is the first time our European Fund has been eligible, as funds require three years’ of performance history before they can be included.  

Over 200,000 retail investors and advisers use the ratings system, with many professional advisers using them as part of their research to show thorough and rigorous research has been undertaken before recommending them. 

Only 10% of funds are awarded five FE fundinfo Crowns with the next 15% receiving four Crowns. Each of the remaining three quartiles are then awarded three, two and one Crown(s) respectively.
