I started my career as a Defra policy adviser, working on the UK’s first carbon trading scheme. After that, I moved into sustainability consulting, helping global companies address their social and environmental impacts and advising UN agencies on partnering with the private sector. I then joined the investment industry, working for The Co-operative Asset Management and Royal London on responsible investment. I started at Castlefield in 2017 and oversee our stewardship activities. This involves engaging companies in our portfolios on environmental, social and governance issues.
I also Chair our internal Stewardship Committee and co-ordinate our External Advisory Committee. In 2023, I became a member of the ESG Clarity Advisory Committee.
