BA (Hons), MBA, Chartered FCSI, Chartered Wealth Manager
I’m the founder of Castlefield. In terms of formal training, I’m a graduate of Accounting and Finance, with a financial services sector-specific MBA. A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, in late 2012 I became one of the UK’s first Chartered Wealth Managers. I’m also an alumnus of the London Business School Private Equity Executive Programme, where I mainly learned how not to structure investment in private businesses!
In terms of experience, I’m a former director of Henry Cooke Group plc and executive director of the private bank, Brown Shipley. Despite having over 30 years of industry experience under my belt, I’m still convinced that the best years for Castlefield are ahead of us!
Day-to-day, I’m mainly involved in advising clients on investment policy and on asset allocation, as well as acting as a trustee of three charities, including the endowment trust of the world-renowned Halle Orchestra.
Outside the office I’m interested in music, collect modern and contemporary art and can usually be seen clutching the latest electronic gadget!
