I joined the team at Castlefield shortly after having graduated with a 1st class Accounting & Finance degree in the summer of 2011. As part of my degree I gained my first taste of the investment world whilst on placement, undertaking a year-long research role for a large hedge fund in Oxfordshire. Now my role at Castlefield specifically includes managing the Castlefield Sustainable UK Smaller Companies Fund and our AIM IHT portfolio service.
I am a charter holder (Chartered Financial Analyst) of the CFA Institute, as well as a holder of the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate and CISI Investment Advice Diploma. I am also a member of both the CFA UK Institute and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Outside of work I am a trustee for a couple of charities, including a grant-making foundation and a small development organisation running grassroots-led projects in rural Uganda, I enjoy following my hometown football club Leicester City, and skiing.
