As part of the Castlefield's in-house marketing communications team, I provide design input to internal and external facing documents, as well as being increasingly active in social media and responsible for regularly updating our website. Communicating effectively with clients and our wider community of like-minded followers is vital and my role is an integral part of our internal and external communications strategy.
I joined Castlefield in September 2016 after graduating in the previous June from Manchester Metropolitan University, with a first class honours degree in Illustration with Animation. Working within the financial sector was therefore new to me, though I’m enjoying the challenge of continuous learning. What initially attracted me to Castlefield was the obvious ethos of respect and community, along with the chance to work for an employee-owned company.
In my spare time I continue to develop my artistic skills through life drawing classes, photography and lino printing. I also enjoy spending time with my partner and walking in the beautiful Cheshire countryside which surrounds my hometown of Macclesfield.
